Job description:

We are hiring a bright, talented and reliable writer that wants to be part of a growing organization.  This position will be responsible for developing articles and blog posts on renewable energy topics and market trends.  The primary job function includes – synthesizing important news as determined by our analysts and developing concise summaries of news items based on original news sources. In addition, this position will draft articles and press releases.

What we're looking for:

• A strong writer that can analyze data and news and develop a clear and concise article that is easy to understand
• Ability to collaborate with our research team to understand concepts and then turn them into written materials
• Internet savvy and ability to identify quality reference material through online searches
• Experience writing financial or technical articles a plus
• American-style English writing experience a plus.
• Journalistic and reporting background a plus
• An eagerness to learn
• An innovative and creative mind
• A voracious reader, especially of news

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Must have superior writing and editing skills, coupled with the demonstrated ability to present information concisely and clearly at an appropriate level of sophistication.
• Must have strong interview skills, with an ability to extract relevant information about technical and complex topics and turn it into accessible written content.
• Must be proactive and able to work independently.
• Must also be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be organized, able to meet deadlines and juggle various tasks while at the same time maintaining a high level of attention to detail and sustaining overall quality.
• Must have an interest in improving personal knowledge of clean energy technologies.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent editing skills and ability to run with new ideas
• Creative, flexible and willing do what it takes to deliver the finished product
