Job Description:

3. Should be ready to take up more responsibility over time

4. Willing to take up challenging task and stay for the long run, rather than change jobs when it gets tough

5. Fluent in english

6. Willing to work during our clients time zone (we have clients in over 20+ countries).

Candidate Profile:
Technical Skills:
1. Good Knowledge in Ruby on Rails Framework (3.x and 4.x) [Knowledge of 2.3 would give you bonus points].

2. Well versed in the concepts of Object Oriented Programming.

3. Exposed to basics of functional programming.

4. Familiarity with Design Patterns (GOF, EAA)

5. Have been working with Ruby as your primary language for over three years

6. Proficient in git

7. Experience writing test and following TDD. (Tools we generally use are RSpec/Mini Test, Capybara and Selenium)

8. Intermediate to Expert Level experience with RDBMS and NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, CouchDB, Redis, Memcache, RabbitMQ, etc

9. Performance tuning - SQL querries, web servers, database sharding etc.
