CANDIDATE PROFILE: 

• The candidate should possess  Bachelors degree, preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Should have 1-4 years experience in software quality assurance, software development, software technical support, or related field.
• Should have strong knowledge of software development or quality assurance methodologies and terminology.
• Experience in automated testing, software programming, or software scripting would be an advantage.
• Exposure to any web-based applications, especially PDM/PLM, would be an advantage
• Must have strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Skilled in communicating with a globally distributed team comprising cross functional team members such as product managers, software engineers, and technical support engineers.
• Should be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.
• Must have the experience using Windows or UNIX operating systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As a Quality engineer , the candidate should execute software testing and develop test cases and test plans
• Install and configure software products on various platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated software tests.
• Report software defects and track quality metrics such as defect counts and test coverage.
• Define and generate quality metrics and key performance indicators.
  Define and roll out process improvements and participate in process audits.
