 Excellent programming and analytical skills
 Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems and databases.
 A feel for good design -- both in terms of engineering and user experience.
 Tolerance for the overhead of rapidly iterating towards greater usability.
 Willingness to work on Ruby on Rails.
