Skills :
-Good communication skills
- Applicant must have excellent self-study skills to develop and maintain an understanding of new technologies
-Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
-This Test Design Engineer is an entry-level position, which may include up to 2 years of experience.
-C/C++ object-oriented programming experience, standard debugging methodologies, hardware design, software version control tools, communications test development tools (MIB browsers, terminal emulation packages, network monitoring software), experience required.
-Knowledge in basic communications technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, ATM, switches, routers) and in telecommunications carrier technologies (DSLAM, xDSL, DS1, DS3, SONET, SDH, EoCu) is preferred. JAVA and Perl experience is a plus.
