ONGC-OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LIMITED

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to undergo training as APPRENTICES in various trades, under APPRENTISHIP act, for the year 2013-14 in DOLESWARAM WORKSHOP of Rajahmundry Asset, ONGC.

Position : Apprentices Trainee

Trade-wise Positions:

1. Fitter: 01
2. Diesel Mechanic: 01
3. Welder: 01
4. Turner /Mechinist: 02

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Pass SSC.
2. Pass ITI in particular trade.
3. Age: not more than 25 yrs. on or before 31.07.2013
(Age Relaxation as per Govt. rules for reservation categories).

Location: Rajamundry

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CANDIDATES RESIDING IN THE DISTRICT S OF EAST GODAVARI, WEST GODAVARI AND KRISHNA DISTRICTS OF A.P., WHERE ONGC IS IN OPERATION.

Applications on plain paper mentioning various details as per Annexure format should be submitted in the office of Head STI, ONGC Base Complex, Rajahmundry Asset, Rajahmundry-533106, within thirty (30) days from the issue of this notification.

NOTE:
ONGC reserves right to accept or reject any applications without showing any cause/reasonswhat so ever.
In a particular trade, if suitable candidates are not available, at the sole discretion of ONGC, (as per rules) other trades can be accepted / engaged.

Salary: Engaged apprentices will be paid a stipend of rupees 1700/- / 1970/- (trade wise) p.m as per rules.

No accommodation / canteen or transport facility will be provided by ONGC.

After completion of Apprenticeship, candidates cannot claim any employment in ONGC as a matter
of right
