Nehru, Governor of Manipur inaugurated the office of the Manipur Public Service Commission at a glittering function on October 23, 1972 at the Gandhi Memorial Hall, Imphal. Chief Minister, Shri Alimuddin presided over the function.

Job Description:

Designation: Manipur Forest Service- Grade II     13 Posts

Qualification:   Bachelor’s Degree with at least one of the subjects, namely- Agriculture Botany, Chemistry, Computer Application/ Science/ Engineering (Agricultural/ Chemical /Civil /Computer /Electrical/ Electronics / Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, zoology, of any University, Deemed University or Foreign University approved/ recognised by the Central Govt.

Salary:  9,300 – 34,800 + GP 5,400/-

Age:  21 – 30 Yrs

Location:  Manipur
