Job Description:

• Engineer with experience in designing and implementing distributed highly scalable systems in the areas of Data Ingestion, Workflow, Scheduler and Data Warehouse integration .
• Hadoop engineer will be responsible for designing and developing key components and features to build NextGen Data and Analytics Platform using Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, Map/Reduce, Hive, Impala, Oozie, Quartz scheduler, Cascading, Kafka, Flume, Storm etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities will include the design, development, unit testing the components. ·
• Building up near real-time (low latency) infrastructure for reporting and dashboard.
• Candidates should have significant Hadoop experience (knowledge).
• Hadoop Ops contractor Compassites is looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoy building a Hadoop Cluster from scratch and making it production ready working side-by-side with Hadoop Engineers.
• To support Hadoop environment which is based on Apache Hadoop deployed at 4 different Data Centers.
• Involved in all aspects of building, provisioning and maintaining the Hadoop production cluster and services ·
• Ensure proper configuration, monitoring, alerting, security and reporting for the infrastructure
