It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The CRPF's primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and contain insurgency. It came into existence as the Crown Representative's Police on 27 July 1939. After Indian Independence, it became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28 December 1949.

Designation: Constable (Technical/Tradesmen)      793 Posts

Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.Should possess “Transport vehicle driving license and pass the driving test, 02 Year ITI certificate in “Mechanic Motor Vehicle” issued by national council for vocational training approved by DGET, Ministry of labour which is an apex body and should have one year experience.

Pay:    5,200 – 20,200 + GP 2,000/-

Age:   18 – 23 Yrs

Location:    Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat.
