Our Product Quality Operations team has the critical responsibility of protecting Google's users by ensuring online safety by fighting web abuse and fraud across Google products like Search, Maps, AdWords and AdSense. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic leader. You understand the user's point of view and are passionate about using your combined technical, sales and customer service acumen to protect our users. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google developers and Product Managers to navigate challenging online safety situations and handle abuse and fraud cases at Google speed (read: fast!). Help us prove that quality on the Internet trumps all.

Responsibilities:

Review and view high-volumes of objectionable content.

Provide first-level policy escalation reviews/investigations raised.

Conceive, launch, and deliver new programs including trainings and manage policy changes to drive efficiency into operations, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.

Drive the development and advancement of metrics analysis and data visualization (e.g. dashboards) to drive policy process optimizations.

Collaborate on project tracking related to strategic policy initiatives around large-scale change-management initiatives.

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Engineering or Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in Project Management.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience managing operational queue escalations and closures.

Experience building dashboards and managing team operations against major/priority programs. Proficiency in database querying.

Experience driving decisions based on principled, rational guidelines; comfortable with grey-area challenges and outcomes. Strong track record of exercising sound judgment in the absence of direction.

Ability to handle direct management of tight deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Familiarity with fraud, spam, abuse, Internet-based product policies and enforcement operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong training skills.
