Job description

Multi Asset Research Strategist

Responsibilities include :

• Help to develop regular investment strategy reports, data and analytical input across all asset classes and for both developed and emerging markets
• Conduct research into asset allocation and portfolio strategy topics (e.g. currency hedging, optimization, tactical signals)
• Document research and investment strategy ideas in research notes, presentations, and quantitative models.
• Use scenario-based modelling and other analysis to build an understanding of risk scenarios and how they impact multi asset portfolios.
• Contribute to the development of multi-asset class return signals across conventional assets, alternative assets and factor

Knowledge and Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience working in a macro research, asset allocation, or investment strategy role
• Good academic records with an Economics, Finance, Mathematics (or similar) background
• Good quantitative skills, with experience running - top-down-  valuation models

Technical skills:

• Advanced degree in Statistics/Economics or related field is mandatory
• Experience in statistical modelling (R or Matlab or similar)
• Knowledge of financial data systems (Bloomberg, Datastream)
• Team player with good presentation skills and high level of enthusiasm
• Intellectual curiosity about financial markets, economics and macro investing
• Positive and proactive attitude with flexibility to accommodate changing environment and willingness to take on new responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels and communicate complex methodologies in simple language

• Experience: 1- 4 years
• Qualification: Advanced degree in Statistics/Economics is manadtory
• Notice Period: 1 month/2months(Mandatory)
• Relocation: Willing to relocate to hyderabad
