Whether coaching your clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and
resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our
Googlers, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as
clear and transparent as possible to help Googlers understand how people
decisions get made.
You
will join the India People Operations (Human Resources) team and be both
hands-on and strategic in providing human resources expertise in the areas of
talent management, employee relations, coaching/development, conflict
management, organizational development and more. This is a true generalist role
that will support and be embedded within one or more organizations, and you
will work closely with the Business, HR Business Partner team as well as with
employees on people related issues. You will be instrumental in initiating and
driving People Operations programs/initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Lead core People Operations processes across a group of the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) teams.
- Provide the client group with various types of employee reports.
- Partner with Learning and Development and Career Development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, retention and job performance.
Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of relevant work experience, including HR experience, business partner or generalist experience with data, analysis, trends and reports.
Preferred qualifications:
- Extensive HR experience as a Business Partner or Generalist, and/or a consulting/legal background.
- Proven project management and operations skills with demonstrated ability to manage global projects and initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, using HRIS systems for reporting.
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally as well as support clients in multiple locations with global travel as required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
