Corporate Technology and Risk (CTR) purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm’s computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture. IT Risk and Controls: Oversight and governance of IT Risk across the firm including IT Risk posture, IT Risk assessment framework, IT regulatory compliance and IT policies and standards.
As an Applications Support Analyst, candidate will be responsible for a suite of applications being supported by a team stationed at global locations.
Candidate will support day to day BAU activities of the team, arrange for appropriate coverage and participate with hands-on troubleshooting on issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide hands-on production and non-production environment support for critical Applications.
- Maintain Business Process Indicator of 99.99% or higher. This includes monitoring of the environment, managing, tracking, and resolving incidents and escalations.
- Performing RCAs for production incidents and preventing reoccurrences.
- Coordinate and perform deployment, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of production and non-production environments.
- Design and Build tools to enhance the support function.
- Partner closely with Application Development, Testing teams, all data consumers, and other dependent support teams.
- Participate in on-call rotation for application support, including weekends and off-hours.
- Improve productivity, supportability and efficiency by automation of repeatable tasks using tools and scripting.
- Create and improve system documentation (Run books, FAQs).
- Produce production metrics and Senior management Scorecards.
- Build and foster relationships across multiple organizations
- Participate in Disaster Recovery events and Major Event Changes
- Ensure infrastructure has adequate capacity and are refreshed on a periodic basis.
- Chair and participate in Project Working Group to improve production stability.
- Drives continuous improvement of services and processes in order to increase platform stability and improved operational efficiencies.
- Lead multiple work streams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience : 5-7 years of work experience in Applications Support / Infrastructure Support Environment.

Technical Skills (Essential):
- Monitoring concepts for varied platforms.
- C onversant in ITIL Incident, Problem & Change disciplines.
- Strong working knowledge in UNIX/Linux/Windows, Java, Informatica and Oracle/SQL Server (SQL Querying, SP, triggers, views & other DBO.)
- UNIX shell scripting and/or Perl
- Experience with Java technologies Java/J2EE
Technical Skills (Desirable):
- Informatica Power Exchange
- Reporting tool experience in Crystal Reports, Business Objects or Cognos
- Understanding of MQ, ISS services, Autosys, SSRS, and Qlikview.
- Experience with system monitoring tools like SSIS or Rabbit MQ.
- Experience creating automation tools via scripting in both Linux as well as Windows environment.
