Job description:

We are looking for Proposal / Tender writer who can communicate in a professional and credible manner. Excellent research skills and the ability to write persuasively and articulately are essential. Experience to construct a bid which pulls together factual information gleaned from a variety of sources in a format which is both interesting and comprehensive. If you want a varied job and like a challenge, this job could be ideal. The ideal candidate for this job should be able to write effective, concise and compelling content while under the pressure sometimes associated with deadlines. Must be able to write in a detailed, factual and convincing manner, ability to convince a recipient to enter into a business. Working as part of a busy and successful bid team, the bid writer will be responsible for completing PQQs (prequalification questionnaires), providing supporting technical / compliance information for tender submissions and contributing towards improvements in the quality and success rate of the company submission process.

• Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for proposal; attending strategy meetings.
• Filter Tenders to quote for on www.tendersdirect.com and http://www.b2bquote.co.uk and other tender sites.
• Once finding suitable tenders, review tender documents and evaluate project
• After evaluation of project and our technical resources decide on go or no go to bid for contract
• Compile information required for project, Use EasyPQQ bidding system to build the bid for the contract. Compile information and answer tender questions, the system compiles the bid on information entered.
• Some project management for won contracts
• Assistance with writing some of the technical project specs
• To write and develop content for tender responses which are bespoke to the target
• Liaise with the awarding authorities regarding any clarifications or amendments to PQQ notices required.
