Job Description:

Position : Senior R&D Engineer up to Principal R&D Engineer (software)

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (CS/E&C) 

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3 to 12 years

Strong Programming Skill in C/C++

Knowledge of Linux/Unix environment highly desirable

Knowledge of OS internal/device drivers is added advantage

Good design and debugging skills desirable

Experience of working in embedded software development, telecom, data-com 

Domain knowledge in Ethernet, OTN, DWDM technologies highly desirable

Knowledge/Experience on carrier Ethernet and MPLS-TP technologies including Ethernet/MPLS-TP Protection, Ethernet/MPLS-TP OAM, Synchronous Ethernet, Circuit Emulation, PTP 1588 is highly desirable. Knowledge/Experience in routing protocols, signaling protocol is added advantage.

Knowledge/Experience of carrier class telecom/data-com system capabilities like Redundancy, High Availability, Hot Standby, Hit-less upgrade is highly desirable

Knowledge of IP (IPv4, IPv6) and higher layers is added advantage

Knowledge of SNMP/TL-1/CLI/other management interfaces is added advantage

Familiarity with SDH/PDH/GPON technology is useful
