Applications are invited from the Chartered Accountants to undertake Audit of Accounts of APMSIDC for the Financial Year 2015-16. 

Eligibility Criteria:
1. The Firm should have a minimum standing experience of 10 years.
2. It should have at least 3 full time FCA partner as per ICAI guidelines.
3. The Firm should be in the panel of C & AG/SLPE for the last 5 years continuously.
4. The Firm should have the experience in conducting Audit of Government/ Semi Government Organizations in the past.
5. The Firm should have minimum turnover of Rs.25.00 Lakhs over the last 3 years.

The firm should have permanent establishment and registered in Andhra Region only to participate in tender process or otherwise the tender summarily rejected.

About Company: 

The Government have felt that lack of accommodation for the Medical Institutions and Quarters for the Staff particularly in Rural and Semi-Urban Areas has been adversely affecting Health Care Programme in A.P. State Housing at such a large scale is taken up phrased programme by training. The Government have created A.P. Health & Medical Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (APHMHIDC) in 5/87 to facilitate prompt and effective implementation of the above programme. APHMHIDC is registered as a Society with the Registrar of Societies on 28.3.1987.

Activities

The A.P. Health, Medical Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation is Registered under A.P. Public Socities Act 1930 in the year 1984. The main functions of the Corporation is Construction & Maintenance of Hospital Buildings. Further, the Procurement and distribution of Drugs, Surgicals & Consumable and Equipment is also entrusted to this Corporation by the Government (Medical and Health Department). The Corporation is functioning with No Profit and No Loss basis. No grants-in-aid are provided to the Corporation and it is sustaining on its own resources by way of collection of supervision charges on the works executed.

The Corporation is headed by the Chairman and consists of Managing Director along with the Chief Engineer Headquarters    at Hyderabad and 3 circles headed by Superintending Engineers, 23 divisions headed by Executive Engineers spread over in the State, one division in each District. Central Drug store is located in each district headquarters managed by the Executive Engineer and assisted by 2 Pharmacists for distribution of drugs etc., to various hospitals in the District. The present total establishment of the Corporation is 397 including Head Office at Hyderabad and District level staff. The Administrative expenses including the salaries of the Staff is Rs.14.00 crores per year.

 The revenue is generated by collecting supervision charges at the rate of 7% on the cost of construction and Maintenance works and 2% on the cost of procurement and distribution of drugs, consumables and equipment for Hospitals.
