Rajasthan Forest Department has invited applications for recruitment for filling up vacancies at the post of forest guard/forest officer. The interested and eligible candidates can apply by December 2.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualifications:

The candidates applying for this post should have passed Class 10 or Class 12 exam from a recognised board or they should have qualified an equivalent exam.

Age limit:

The candidates applying for the post are required to age between 18 and 24 years (male), 18-29 years (female). Age relaxation is applicable as per norms.

Selection process:

The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their performances in the written examination, physical efficiency test and an interview round.

Pay scale:

Forest Guard (Non TSP area): Pay Band-I Scale i.e. Rs 5,200- Rs 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2,000 

Forest Guard (TSP area): Pay Band-I Scale i.e. Rs 5,200- Rs 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2,800

The interested candidates must visit the official website and fill in the forms online and pay the application fee in order to complete the application process. The candidates must also take a print out of the same for future use.
