Breaking News: Mysuru gets cleanest city tag - Swachh Bharat 2016

In Swachh Bharat Rankings for 2015 Released by ministry of Development, Mysuru to be cleanest city in India followed by Chandigarh, Tiruchirapalli, New Delhi Muncipal Council (NDMC), Visakhapatnam, Surath, Rajkot, Gangtok, Pimprichinchwad, Greater Mumbai etc. And Varanasi was dirtiest city with slow mover less than 50% score compared to previous rankings, NDMC of New Delhi moved from rank 7 to 4. The survey is made in 476 Firttier cities In two parameters how minimal open defecation in cities and the municipalities with solid waste management systems. The purpose of rankings is to encourage cities to fix their sanitation and sewerage infrastructure.
