Detail of Post :

Applicants are invited for walk-in-interview for the following positions on contract basis in Longitudinal Ageing Project In India (LASI) project at IIPS:

Position Senior Project Officer – Health (Field) – 2 positions

Role & Planning, operationalizing and coordinating the work of the Health and Biomarker Responsibilities component of the LASI project.

Manage the technical aspects of data validation, and ensuring indicators are used, methodologies are acceptable and comparable data is being analyzed and validated. Any other responsibility relating to the survey that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications | Essential: MD with 1 year of experience/MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/MPH with under graduation in medical or paramedical education along with 2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems within the health sector. • Demonstrated experience in public health/healthcare/National health system/ Health Policy/Clinical research/ Health Surveys • Understanding of quantitative research methods and measurement. Proficiency in use of MS Office. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Desirable: • Understanding the health monitoring and evaluation (M&E), including the meaning and measurement of main indicators • Experience in clinical diagnostics in field survey settings. • Good data analysis, interpretation and report writing skills. • Proficiency/understanding of more than two languages would be preferred.

Salary Rs.40,000 – 45,000 Per Month (Based on qualification and Experience)

Selection Procedure :

Written Test on 29/2/2016

Shortlisted candidates will undertake face to face interview.

Walkin Procedure ? :

All posts are purely temporary fixed tenure project based positions. Temporary Appointment shall terminate with completion of the project or the period of appointment, whichever is the earlier. The initial appointment may be for six months extendable on satisfactory discharge of assigned responsibilities. Educational Qualification or working experience may be relaxed in deserving cases. Candidates qualifying the above criteria may attend the Walk-In-Interview on 29.02.2016 from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm along with CV & other original documents in support of their qualifications and experience. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
