Breaking News: Chennai gets self-cleaning Public e-toilets

• Over 180 self-cleaning public eToilets, free to use, have been installed in Chennai, which is developed by Eram Scientific Solution. 

• The toilet cleans itself before entry and after use. 

• Equipped with sensors to ensure consume less water and power. Around 40 toilets in the city are for women that have a sanitary napkin generator and an incinerator. 

• The toilet can be located through the mobile app.

• India has the largest number of people defecating in the open, with over 60.4% of India's population still without access to sanitation.
