Gujarat CM launched ‘Smart Village’ program
Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has launched Smart Village program on the occasion of completion of two years of her Government. Addressing the launching function at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, the CM said, 300 villages will be selected for Smart Village program.
These villages will get 80 lakh to 2 crore rupees cash assistance from the state government to improve public facilities in the villages. On this occasion, the Sarpanchs of villages having 100 percent completion of toilet targets have been felicitated.
The second anniversary of Anandiben Patel Government in Gujarat will also be celebrated by State BJP from 22nd to 26th May. Vikas Parva Yatra have been organised in all districts and cities under the leadership of Ministers and local Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assembly.
