Detail Of Post:

The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K), was set up in 2000 by the Government of Kerala to be the state’s premier institute in teaching and research in Information Technology and related disciplines. The institute is currently accepting application from interested candidates for the post of Assistant Coordinator (Centre for Continuing Studies) on contractual basis.

1. Assistant Coordinator (Centre for Continuing Studies): 1 post
2. Essential Qualification: UG/PG in Computer Science/IT related areas with a Masters/ PG Diploma in Management.
3. Desirable: 1. At least six months of experience in working with academic institution/ industry preferably involved in training related activities. 2. Experience in conceptualizing, planning, organizing and marketing training programmes 3. Experience of working in training related functions 4. Exposure to technical and managerial aspects in the IT industry
4. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Identify the current and future training needs of students and working professionals. 2. Design and develop new training programmes looking at the needs identified. 3. Ensure that training materials are developed for the programs conducted. 4. Organize the training programs ensuring adequate quality and to the satisfaction of the trainees. 5. Ensure that publicity is provided to all the training programs and adequate participation is assured so that each training program runs on a self financing mode. 6. Marketing of programs launched by the CCS 7. Liaising with industries/ government organizations 8. Ensure that adequate revenue is generated in a continuous basis so that the CCS runs on a self sustaining mode.
5. Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- per month for freshers (may be fixed higher based on qualification and experience for deserving candidates) plus a variable component based on revenue generated to the Centre.
