Detail of Post:

1. Posts: One Junior Research Fellow and one Project Assistant
2. Project Duration:
3. Appointment will be for 1 year and subjected to annual review for further extension that will be granted based on the research progress and accomplishments for another 2 years or till end of project.
4. Project duration left : ~3 years.
5. Fellowship: JRF Fixed Rs 16, 400/- per month for first year
6. PA fixed Rs 6200/- (consolidated, no further increment).

Eligibility:

1. JRF: B.Sc in Chemistry (at least 60%) and M.Sc. in Chemistry/any discipline of life science from a recognized University with at least 60% marks. Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates.
2. PA: B.Sc in Chemistry/any discipline of life science (at least 55%) and M.Sc. in Chemistry/any discipline of life science from a recognized University with at least 60% marks.

Selection Procedure:

1. Written Test on 11/05/2016.
2. Shortlisted candidates will undertake face to face interview.
3. Dates are yet to be announced for the final selection

A walk-in-interview will be held on 11th May, 11.30 a.m at the Chemistry Department, Presidency University, Kolkata. All interested candidates are requested to appear for an interview with the following documents intwo sets. (documents must be self attested).

2.  A detailed CV
3. Degree certificates (original and photocopy)
4.  Thesis/ project report and publications
