Architect and develop Automation and Workflow modules for Policy & Compliance products:  Understand all the activities of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including but not limited to, architecting, designing, building and deploying applications, making database calls,  and web based dashboards for the Policy & Compliance team including but not limited to such as expense report audits, card management, fraud alerts, detailed reporting, , violation tracking, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Architect and developer for corporate programs products:  Understand all the activities of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including but not limited to, architecting, designing, building and deploying applications, making database calls,  and web based dashboards for the Policy & Compliance team including but not limited to such as expense report audits, card management, fraud alerts, detailed reporting, , violation tracking, etc.      

Requirement(s) Analysis and Application Modeling: Works closely with clients to understand vision and strategy to develop requirements, determine user’s skill sets, address issues/problems, and to determine most effective way to utilize tools.  Once requirements are gathered, analyzed, interpreted, and finalized, the role will develop and present a prototype and finalize the process flow with end user.  Provides commentary, presentation, and insights to the client, once vision and strategy is understood, to develop list of alternatives based on review for a more effective, while efficient process.

Architecture & Design:  Based on agreed upon requirements and direction, develop architecture and review programming needs (use of existing or new) for development of tool.  This includes but is not limited to:

Design Application Screens that will be part of the automation process and workflow tools based on the requirements gathered

Determining the data source and relation between the various data elements

Designing new modules that can be shared across multiple pages/data elements. For e.g., commenting/workflow

Reviewing existing code to identify reusable components

Managing access (full, restricted) control for each user

Determining overall development effort and timelines

Implementation: 

Upon completion of architecture & design, develop system to fully meet requirements within test environment

Testing:  

Perform testing based on the requirements gathered in the requirements phase. Ensure all data elements are working as expected and resolve issues as they arise.  Execute full application testing to make sure all existing modules are working as intended.

Deployment & Training:  

Provide the demonstration of the new functionality to the users within the test environment. Work in close conjunction with users to take their input and make modification to the component, perform testing and deploy the code to the production environment.

Documentation: 

Document all processes (As-is) (To-be) as part of the Design process, Document the programming logic any dependencies. In addition to this, this resource may be assigned additional documentation responsibilities from time to time based on requirement.

Maintenance:  

Ongoing maintenance including software modifications and upgrades to keep the system up and running.  Works in close conjunction with client and end users to make sure system meets needs and proactively reviews and suggest process changes, when needed.

U.S. India Workplace Services Group (Policy and Compliance)

Manage implementation, operations, and compliance with corporate charge cards, telecom cards such as conferencing and long distance, and wireless programs; perform audits of expense submissions in DTE; and communicate compliance issues

Charge Card Compliance Team: 

Charge Card Compliance team reviews the balances on corporate cards to ensure the employees are submitting expenses in a timely manner and making the required payments to avoid delinquency. The team also performs reconciliation to determine the credit/debit on the account. Identify and communicate the findings with employees to resolve the issue.
