Pondicherry University (A Central University) invites applications in the prescribed format for direct recruitment of Technical Positions for Central Instrumentation Facility on Contract Basis (01 Year). The last date for receipt of applications is 29th November 2016.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

Scientific Officer -I ->

(1) M.Sc.,in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Science with at least 55% Marks. (OR) First Class M.E./ M.Tech., in Nano Science & Technology/ Material Science.

(2) Ph.D: The Research work should have involved extensive usage of HR TEM with evidence of research publications in reputed International Journals with high impact factor.

Technical Officer -I ->

(1) First Class in B.E., /B.Tech., or equivalent in Electronics / Instrumentation. (or) M.Sc., in Physics/ Electronics with at least 55% marks.

(2) A minimum experience of 05 years in operation Maintenance of Sophisticated Analytical instruments Including SEM,EPMA etc.

Laboratory Assistant-I ->

(1) B.Sc.,in Physics/ Chemistry/ Applied Sciences/ Life Sciences with at least second class. (or)

(2) First Class Engineering Diploma in Electronics/ Instrumentation Science.

Laboratory / Workshop Attendant ->

(1) SSLC with regular ITI with NCVT certificate in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation trade.

Application Fee: ₹ 300/- drawn from any Nationalized bank in favour of Finance Officer, Pondicherry University payable at Puducherry. No fee for 25.    SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-Servicemen and Women Candidates.
