Job Description:

1. Participate in creating test plans

2. Create test scenarios, test cases for various phases and types of testing

3. Prepare test data and test environment to execute the test cases

4. Report regular status of testing

5. Record and track defects through tools

6. Collect test metrics to measure the quality of product

7. Communicate with all the key stakeholders on the progress of various product deliverables

8. Assist Leads and Managers in preparing quality guidelines, checklists, and templates to improve the quality of the products and the processes

9. Should have basic knowledge on the performance/Load testing

Candidate Profile:

Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance

Required Skills:

1. Strong application of manual testing techniques with excellent understanding of best practices and principles of software testing

2. Experience with various testing methodologies

3. Experience testing Web-based applications (preferably single page)

4. Good knowledge of SE/SDLC/STLC/Agile, test/QA methodology & processes, and concepts

5. Exposure/Good knowledge of HTML/JS and Flex technology

6. Proficiency in MS Office products
