Position Responsibilities: 
Documentation of Client Networks
Small Projects
Assist Sr. Engineers on Larger projects
T&M service requests
Backup Maintenance
Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of network devices such as Cisco 3850, Cisco 4500, Cisco 6500, ASR1k
Understanding of and ability to install, configure Nexus 7K, 5K,2K
Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP and BGP
Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution
Takes a personal interest in, and responsibility for, quality of work they perform or are associated
Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
Ability to articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
Experience with Switching concepts such as VLAN, VTP, STP,RSTP, MSTP Portfast, Etehtrchannel, BPDU Guard
Experience with high-end routers, Switches and firewalls
Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF EIGRP and BGP
Experience with networking concepts such as NAT/PAT, ACL/Prefix list, subnetting and supernetting
Understanding of MPLS,QOS,MP-BGP
Understanding of DNS services
Working Knowledge of Cisco Firewall Technologies
Working Knowledge of Wireless Technologies


Credentials and Experience: 

Minimum 3 - 7 years experience Cisco Switching, VLAN, Routing, Firewalling Support and VPN Connectivity Support
 
Has at least one certification. CCNA/CCDA/CCNP
