This position performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of equipment, systems, or processes. Specifications are prepared, and necessary subcontracts and requisitions are defined. The incumbent has basic knowledge of concepts, principles, and theories in a subject area or discipline. He/she has a general understanding of the role of the team/ department and industry practice and standards.

- Under close supervision, the individual performs the routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.

- Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of engineering assignments.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

REQUIRED: - BS or MS graduate of an engineering discipline.

- 0 to 2 years experience.

- Professional Engineer License (PE) as required.
