Position Title: AVP – Operations (Women candidates only)

Functional reporting into: Vice-President, Operations

Base : Kantar's Global Delivery Centre, Hyderabad

Core Responsibilities



  • Lead the team to meet business objectives by developing talent
  • Work with seniors/stakeholders to improvise existing and design new processes
  • Ensure a Pristine Control Environment - All operational risks to be assessed and mitigated, and control/audit issues actively managed to resolution
  • Monitor and track expenses to plan
  • Effective Communication for both internal and external stakeholders providing regular; develop strong working relationship between the team and  onshore business partner
  • To show consistent improvement in employee satisfaction & customer survey scores
  • Ensure self & team’s Compliance to company’s/ group’s policies & procedures

Operational Responsibilities



  • Exercise full leadership and supervisory responsibility over Operations Support department typically consisting of multiple teams
  • Evaluates teams' performance and make course correction wherever and whenever needed
  • Responsible for Manpower planning, resource management to balance workloads
  • Recommends new work procedures with broader scope of impact; deals with variable (occasionally complex) issues with substantial potential impact
  • Identify training needs for the team, conduct training programs/contribute training material to the training department
  • Responsible & accountable for adherence in the team for company/OpCos information system
  • Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how own area collectively integrates to contribute to achieving overall business goals
  • Persuades and influences others through strong communication and diplomacy skills; negotiate with both internal & external parties

  • Pass all Internal and External Audit reviews
  • Enhance customer centricity and concept of one team
  • Attract, Develop, Asses and Retain the Talent


Shift

Primarily the afternoon shift, but should be flexible in shift timings during business requirements



Education level:



Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Commerce/Science or MBA

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience: 



  • 14-16 years of which 8-10 years in Operations working in the BPO, ITES, MR industry
  • Very good understanding of business, technology & operations
  • Leading and managing large teams(50++) for 3-5 years; track record of building teams, managing employee aspirations, people engagement, delivery compliance, execution excellence
  • Competence in mentoring and coaching employees, proficiency in driving superior quality along with experience in process mapping, business transition and capability development.

Skills: 



  • People and Process Management skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills; strong communication and presentation/public speaking skills
  • Team building - Ability to manage diverse teams, good at conflict management
  • Execution skills: Quick thinker who can take strategic decisions to implement, has ability to prioritize; is analytical in thinking and has attention to detail
  • Ability to handle pressure and work under tight timelines
  • Positive attitude; should be able to take feedback positively and work on them to improve
  • Flexibility to adjust to the changing work environment and needs to the team
