Applications are invited from motivated and qualified students for admission to the Ph.D programme 2016.

Areas of Research: 

Astronomy & Astrophysics, Chemistry, Light and Matter Physics, Soft Condensed Matter, Theoretical Physics.

Eligibility: 

Candidates seeking admission in Physics must have M.Sc degree in Physics/ Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent or first class B.E./ B.Tech degree in Engineering.

Selection procedure: 

Performance in the Joint Entrance Screening Test 2016 (JEST 2016) to be held on 21.02.2016. Or Performance in UGC-CSIR-NET for JRF (Physics) or in subject GRE (Physics) or high score in GATE.
