Job Description:

1. Dig deep to identify and understand the metrics that will help us build a highly-scalable publishing business

2. Build and maintain a scalable platform for compiling, reviewing and distributing metrics to a global publishing team

3. Think about big ideas to use insights from metrics to improve authors’ experiences, grow the top line and improve the bottom line

4. Establish creative visualizations of metrics and underlying data

5. Track general business activity and provide clear, compelling management reporting on a regular basis

6. Ask tough questions to a cross-functional team of business executives and team leaders

Candidate Profile:
Basic Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics or other quantitative discipline

2. 1-3 years of experience in big data analysis

3. 1-3 years of financial reporting or analysis experience

4. Strong understanding of financial statements and modeling

5. Expert in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Expert in Oracle SQL

2. Strong communication and data presentation skills

3. Strong problem solving ability
