Job Description:

1. Execute data quality review for FR Y-14Q/M and other regulatory reports

2. Document review observations and assist in root cause analysis

3. Assist in drafting tickets for validated observations and upload into incident management tool

4. Prepare reports on review results, status and metrics

5. Assist in defining, and refreshing test methodology including scoping, sampling, source document mapping

6. Prepare / update program governance documents e.g. standard operating procedures.

Candidate Profile:

Education: Chartered Accountant or CPA Designation / Master's Degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance

Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in financial statement audit and/ or regulatory reporting, including preparing, auditing, reviewing, or conducting transaction-level data quality reviews of the regulatory reports.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Self-motivated, operates with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail

2. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

3. Effective team work and collaboration

Desired Skills: 

1. Experience in preparation of key financial and US regulatory reports (e.g. FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q/M, 14A, FFIEC 101 FR-Y-11/2314, FFIEC 009)

2. Knowledge of banking products - Wholesale Banking, Mortgage Lending, Consumer Lending, Trading Products

3. Experience with US regulatory reporting and financial product level source documents (e.g. loan and securities documents) will be an added advantage
