Job description:

Mortgage Banking Technology organization is looking for a talented and highly motivated leader for building and leading its ETL Application development teams. 

Responsibilities :

• The person will be leading a business delivery vertical – of mid-large size teams supporting mission critical Mortgage Banking ETL applications 
• This position is expected to direct the activities of software applications development including managing the development, installation, and maintenance of data services, including ETL and data management for the Mortgage Banking Default business line. 
• Engage/Drive the planning, architecture, design, and development of solutions that satisfy business requirements for large complex systems 
• Drive execution capabilities and efficiencies across the organization 
• Interact with senior leadership in the organization to develop strategy for teams at global sites 
• Day-to-day resource management and Project Execution 
• Ensure that the team and associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines Keep abreast with the latest developments in third party and custom development technologies
• Partner closely with testing and production support teams
• Will have functional reporting to Executive Director/Head in US and local reporting to India Site Manager 

Education: 

• Bachelors in a technology related field, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent 

Experience: 

• A minimum of 12 years of overall applications development experience required with 6 years of experience with leading the design and development of ETL systems 
• Experience with full software development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployments
• This position requires the ability to understand complex data relationships between disparate systems 
• Firm understanding of end-to-end solution architecture, business process management, and enterprise application integration of third party and custom developed solutions 
• Experience in developing business cases and present complex ideas quickly and effectively
• Deep technical expertise in areas including ETL tools, Open systems, development tools; 
• Informatica and RDBMS such as DB2, Teradata and/or Oracle, etc. 
• A minimum of 5 years of ‘hands-on” experience using Informatica 
• A minimum of 5 years of developing applications in DB2/Oracle as both Source and Target 
• A minimum of 2 years of experience developing Informatica real time messaging in support of mission critical applications is preferred 
• A minimum of 2 years experience using Control M is preferred 
•  Proven track record of high quality software delivery 
• Experience in Developing and managing high-performing teams 
•  Extensive Project and Resource management experience 
• Proven leadership and organizational management 
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams 
• Strong time management, priority allocation and task management skills. Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects without sacrificing schedule or quality 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to mentor others

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior Experience in a similar role for a Financial Services organization 
• Mortgage Banking or Consumer Loan industry experience a plus 
• Multinational captive site or overseas experience
